Katy Perry (born October 25, 1984 as Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson) is a singer, songwriter and actress United States. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California by a Christian priest's parents. Since childhood, Perry just listening to gospel music and often sang in local churches. He released a spiritual album that same name in 2001 as Katy Hudson, but less successful. He later recorded an album with production team The Matrix and complete most of the solo albums 2004-05, both of which none was released.

After signing a contract with Capitol Music Group in 2007, he adopted the stage name Katy Perry and Perry in November of his first singles released on the internet, "Ur So Gay" enough to get public attention
